So my question to you is why does everything exciting take forever to get here, and when it's here it goes by so fast? I don't understand.
Let me just tell you what a wonderful time I had. Seeing family and friends. Some friends I haven't seen for 13 years. We all look the same. So that's a good thing. The girls had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa, and so did I. I realized how much I miss my parents and how much I still need them. One day I hope to move closer to them.
My cousin Megan got to escape for a couple of days, and I got to hang out with her. We went out a couple of times after bedtime, and just got to catch up. It was awesome.
My brother and sister-in-law came down. My niece Danielle came, and she loved peter pan. She looks so much like me, she could be mine. Brian went and got my oldest nephew Nathan for Tuesday. How awesome to talk and spend time with him. Watching him grow up and spending a couple of years with him, made me who I am today. Talking to him now is awesome. I am talking to an adult. An adult with his own ideas, thoughts, and choices to make in his own life. I am very proud of them.
Then I got to spend a wonderful vacation with the best 2 girls that God could have blessed me with. Watching Abigail and Claudia play and laugh and get excited when they saw Mickey Mouse or a princess was amazing. Abigail looked at things different this time, and she looked different. She is getting older and I am scared of that. I want her to be everything that I wasn't and nothing like I was. I like (kinda) who I am now, but I know she can do many things. Claudia still has the little girl smile with her. I love it, and I am going to try to capture that as much as I can.
